Professor
A clear division of work: you see which groups exist, who runs them and how many sessions were held, without a separate spreadsheet.
Running a course
Labs and tutorials rarely run with the whole year group at once. In ISEUS you create groups and assign students and assistants, and attendance, activities and announcements are automatically linked to the right group.

Create lab or tutorial groups and assign students one by one or all at once.
Give each group one or more assistants. The course check warns you about groups without an assistant and students without a group.
The assistant runs the sessions and attendance of their group and scores activities for the students of that group.
Post an announcement to the whole course, to all of your groups or to a single group. Students can comment.

You work with your groups and your students, not with the full list. Announcements go only to the people they concern.
You know which group you are in and who your assistant is, and you only get the announcements that apply to you.
In the course you create groups and add students individually or all at once. Students without a group are listed in one place, so nobody is left out.
