Frequently asked questions
Does the university have to adopt ISEUS before I can use it?
No. As a professor you can decide on your own to use ISEUS for your courses and students, without waiting for an institutional decision. Faculties can adopt it through a demo and a conversation.
How does QR attendance work?
You generate a QR code for a teaching activity and students scan it with their phones. Attendance is recorded automatically against the student, course and activity. A professor or assistant can also correct attendance by hand.
Can I define my own grading rules?
Yes. Each course has its own rules: midterms, projects, lab work, activities and exams can have different weights, and ISEUS calculates the total result.
Can students see their own results?
Yes. In the student portal students see attendance, points, results and announcements.
How are students added to the system?
You can import students in bulk from an Excel spreadsheet, and the system validates the data before importing.
Is there a mobile app?
The student app for Android and iOS is built and coming soon to Google Play and the App Store. Until then ISEUS works in the browser on phones and computers, for every role.
How much does ISEUS cost?
The Free plan is free forever (one active course and up to 30 students). The Professor plan costs from €8.99 per month with an optional 30-day trial, and institutions can arrange Campus. Students never pay. See the Pricing page.
Do I have to wait for my faculty to adopt ISEUS?
